Hopefully this can help me remember all of the my worries and experiences before the baby gets here. Being diagnosed with preeclampsia, he is coming three weeks early. Part of me wants to procrastinate the induction until Monday, but part of me just wants it out of the way.
The things about induction that terrify me (so I can come back later and see if they were true):
How long will it take?
Will it hurt?
When should I get the epidural?
Am I going to tear?
Will it put the baby under too much stress?
Will it put me under too much stress?
I hope to come back in a week and be able to answer these questions for myself :)
Also, I am attempting to cloth diaper a newborn and I have questions for future Emily about that as well. Right now I have a small NB stash of diapers.
How many diapers do I need?
Which brand is the best for my baby?
What detergent works best?
Finally, I'm super worried about money. It seems like right everything is breaking (just paid to fix the toilet, and the heat). Additionally, Christmas is so expensive and I have to buy all these presents! And then there's random things I need to buy for the nursery and baby.
On the plus side, I have gotten so much stuff for free or really cheap:
Carseat
Crib
Changing Table #1 ($30)
Changing Table #2 ($10)
Rocking Chair ($75)
Tons of clothing and diapers
Bouncers (multiple)
Blankets
Bottles
Bottle Warmer
